Privacy Policy

Last Updated: 26 February 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DMR Investment Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company trading as Selora (“Selora”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit https://theselora.com or purchase from us.

1. Information we collect

You give us:

  • Identity and contact information — name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses.
  • Account information — username, password (stored in hashed form), order history.
  • Research eligibility information — the confirmations you give at our access gate and at checkout (age confirmation, research-use acknowledgement, researcher type), and any institutional or credential information you provide on request.
  • Order information — products purchased, quantities, transaction records.
  • Communications — emails, support requests, and any information you include in them.

Collected automatically:

  • Device and connection data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, language, referring URL.
  • Usage data — pages viewed, products viewed, time on page, links clicked, cart activity, and how you arrived at the Website.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see section 6.

Payment information. Card details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our systems. We receive only a transaction reference, the result, and limited details such as the card’s last four digits and billing postcode.

2. How we use it

We use personal information to: process, fulfil and deliver your orders; take payment and detect or prevent fraud and chargeback abuse; verify eligibility and maintain a record of research-use confirmations; provide customer support and handle claims; send transactional messages such as order and shipping confirmations; send marketing emails where you have opted in; operate, secure, debug and improve the Website; measure and target advertising (see section 3); and comply with our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.

3. Advertising, analytics and "sharing"

We advertise online, and this involves sharing limited information with advertising platforms. We use third-party advertising and analytics technologies — including the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising pixel and conversions API, and web analytics tools — which may receive your device identifiers, IP address, pages and products viewed, and purchase events, including a hashed form of your email address, in order to measure the performance of our advertising and to show you relevant ads on other platforms.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (“CCPA/CPRA”) this activity may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, even though we do not sell personal information for money.

You can opt out. Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our website footer, adjust your cookie preferences, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from a supporting browser — we honour it. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com, and adjust ad settings within your Meta account.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with data brokers.

4. Who we share information with

We share personal information only as needed, with:

  • Payment processors — to take payment and manage disputes.
  • Our third-party fulfilment provider and shipping carriers — name, address and order contents, to pick, pack and deliver your order.
  • Email and communications providers — to send transactional and, where permitted, marketing messages.
  • Advertising and analytics providers — as described in section 3.
  • Website hosting, security and IT service providers — who process data on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, auditors and lawyers, under duties of confidentiality.
  • Authorities — where required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our legal rights, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of any person.
  • A successor — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not permit our service providers to use your information for their own unrelated purposes.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as necessary. Our standard periods are:

Category

Retention

Order and transaction records

7 years (tax and accounting requirements)

Research-use confirmations and eligibility records

7 years (regulatory and compliance record-keeping)

Account information

Until you ask us to delete it, then removed within 30 days except where we must retain order records

Customer support correspondence

3 years

Marketing contact and consent records

Until you unsubscribe, plus 3 years to evidence consent

Website server and security logs

12 months

Cookie and advertising identifiers

Per the durations in section 6, generally up to 13 months

Where we must keep a record for legal reasons, we retain the minimum necessary and restrict access to it.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use: strictly necessary cookies (cart, checkout, login session, security and access-gate verification), which cannot be switched off; functional cookies remembering preferences; analytics cookies measuring how the Website is used; and advertising cookies and pixels used for the purposes in section 3.

You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner or preference centre, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Website and checkout from working.

7. Your rights

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA) you have the right to: know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of recipients; delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising; limit the use of sensitive personal information (we do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics); and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights — we will not deny you products, charge a different price, or provide a lesser quality of service.

Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws, and individuals in jurisdictions such as the UK and EEA, have broadly equivalent rights including access, correction, deletion, portability, and objection to processing. We apply the rights above to all customers regardless of location, so far as practicable.

How to exercise your rights. Email support@theselora.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will acknowledge within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days, extendable once by a further 45 days where necessary, and we will tell you if we need longer. To protect you, we will verify your identity — usually by confirming information associated with your account or a recent order — before acting on a request. We do not charge a fee for a reasonable request.

Authorised agents. You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will require written proof of authorisation and may still verify your identity directly.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including TLS encryption in transit, PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing by our providers, hashed password storage, access controls limiting staff access to what is necessary, and monitoring of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any regulator as required by law.

9. Age restriction

The Website is intended only for individuals aged 21 or over who are qualified researchers or research organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn we have, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact support@theselora.com.

10. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process personal information there. If you access the Website from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection law may differ from your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Third-party links

The Website may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. This policy does not apply to them; please review their own privacy notices.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and, where changes are material, notify you by email or a notice on the Website.
