Orders placed before 12:00 PM ET on a business day are normally dispatched the same day. Orders placed after the cut-off, at weekends, or on public holidays are dispatched on the next business day.
We hold inventory in our own fulfilment facility in Miami, Florida, so orders ship from stock rather than being made to order. If an item you have ordered is unexpectedly unavailable, we will contact you promptly with the option of a substitute, a partial shipment, or a full refund of the affected item.
Occasionally an order is held briefly for eligibility or fraud verification. If we need anything from you we will email you at the address on the order.
Shipping is a flat $13.95 per order regardless of size or weight. Orders over $200 ship free. Because the rate is flat, consolidating your research materials into a single order is usually cheaper than placing several.
The free-shipping threshold is assessed on the order value after any discount and before tax.
Transit times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Most domestic orders arrive within [2–5] business days of dispatch depending on destination.
We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, weather, natural events, customs, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. A delay in transit is not by itself grounds for a refund — but if your order does not arrive at all, we will replace or refund it in full under our Refund & Returns Policy.
You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with a tracking number once your order leaves our facility. Please allow up to 24 hours for the carrier to show the first scan.
Materials are supplied as lyophilised powder in sealed vials and are packed to protect them in transit. Packaging is designed to protect the materials in transit and is labelled as required for shipping.
On arrival, please inspect your order promptly and store the materials appropriately in line with the storage conditions shown on the product page. Once delivered, storage and handling are your responsibility, and correct storage from the point of delivery is a condition of any claim relating to product condition.
Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout — we cannot change an address once an order has been dispatched. You must provide a complete, accurate address where someone is able to receive the delivery and store the materials appropriately.
If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect or incomplete address, we can reship once it reaches us, but a new shipping charge applies and the original shipping is not refundable. If a delivery is refused, the original shipping cost and any return carriage will be deducted from any refund.
We do not ship to freight forwarders or reshipping services.
If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, or does not arrive at all, contact support@theselora.com within 7 days of delivery — or within 14 days of dispatch if it never arrived — with your order number and, for damage, photographs of the outer packaging, the vial and the shipping label. We respond within 2 business days and will replace or refund in full at no cost to you. Full detail is in our Refund & Returns Policy.

Option B — if you do ship internationally: “International orders are shipped [carrier/service] with estimated transit of [X–Y] business days. You are the importer of record. All duties, taxes, brokerage and customs charges are your responsibility and are not included in the price or shipping charge. You are responsible for confirming that these materials may be lawfully imported into your country. We cannot refund or replace orders that are delayed, detained, seized or destroyed by customs or other authorities, and shipping charges on such orders are not refundable.”
All products are supplied for laboratory research use only and are not for human or veterinary use. By ordering, you confirm you are a qualified researcher or research organisation and that receipt and possession of these materials is lawful at your delivery address.
